Calgary visit

I'll be in Calgary July 10-15 inclusive, and would like to connect with you, and others in the SolutionBox, coaching, or motivational and spiritual communities.

I have an impulse around creating an evening where anyone can come and ask questions about sharing your gift with the world and gettingpaid for it, building a professional practice,or internet marketing.

I could speak to an existing gathering/meeting, or we could create our own - which would requirea space, someone to set it up etc. I don't think we'd charge for it, unless it was a nominal $20 which went to charity, or to cover the cost ofthe space.

An alternative (or as well as) to a talk/speech could be drinks at a fun, quiet, bar. I'd really enjoy that too.

1) Does a speech/teaching type event call to you?
2) Does a social event call to you?
3) What if anything, do you propose?

Please post your comments using the comments link below.

David,

coming during stampede, should be great fun for you!

Thinking about the coaches and holistic practitioners that I know a casual teaching session would fit the best, more like a Q&A session.

Space is pretty easy to come by it just depends on how many people..

no problem to arrange especially if you are looking for a more intimate group(less then 50)

Hi Lori,

Does this mean that you have a gathering that you are planning? I would be interested in attending. I would be heading out of town starting July 14/15th but before then would work.

Please keep me posted if and when you secure a place, date and time.

I am out of town until the evening of July 13th so the 14th and 15th work best for me.

A casual teaching would be good, though a more social get together would work as well. Perhaps we could connect for a few drinks. My favorite hideaway os the Auburn Saloon on 9th Ave. near the base of the Calgary Tower. I know the owner well and could arrange something on very short notice.

I do depart in the morning and will have limited access to email and internet but will try and check in here as my connectivity allows.

Be Good to Yourselves.

Howard.

David,
Would love to hook up with you while you are in Cow Town! There is nothing quite like Stampede. Due to an illness in my family, I will be away July 12-14 so I would prefer 10 or 11th. I agree that a Q & A would be best, informal style. Regardless, I hope you have an amazing time!
Thanks,
Aly Pain, CPCC

Can someone please post the address for "Community Place" and "Boomtown"? I am not sure of the location of either.

THanks.

David,
Would love to meet you and be in on the meeting, however, Toronto is closer to me than Calgary.
If you are ever this way most definitely, enjoy Calgary and welcome to the great white north!

Geez, I wish I could be there! I live only 6 hours away. With a bit more notice, I could have booked the day to be there (and I welcome any opportunity to ride my motorbike!) A privilege that I regret not being able to attend.
David, I hope that you enjoy your visit to Calgary. If you think you'll be near Vernon, B.C. let us know and I'd be happy to show you around!
Cheers, and YeeeHaaaa!
