Are you a snuggler?

I LOVE snuggling.

I just created a tshirt for myself that says: “get your snuggle on”
The site asked me if I wanted to make it available
publicly and I clicked Yes. Then I thought – maybe
others would like this tshirt. You can order it online
here:

Get your snuggle on T-Shirt

I can’t wait to wear it.

2. FEATURE: What's Your Single Greatest Dream?

Let's keep this edition straight to the point.

What's your dream?

Your greatest dream?

What is your single greatest dream?

If you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY could have anything you want?

You know the most important step to having something, is declaring it.

Forming the very thought in your head, is the beginning.

Speaking it to the world, is the next step.

Hmmm…I wonder what it is for you…

An island in the carribean?

To bring one million people out of poverty?

To dance on broadway?

To have a best selling book? (yes, you know who you are)

To have the partner of your dreams?

To cure a disease?

ACTION
What is your single greatest dream?

Would you tell me?

Would you tell everyone?

Post it here: Blog

Love,

David Wood

3. The Personal Touch
I’m three days fresh from the Byron Katie School
for The Work. This is the closest that might come
express what’s happening:

I’m cracked wide open. Heart unfurled…
Gentle sobs as the world pours in.
Love flowing me.
Any thought an excuse to feel
The key to freedom in my pocket
100 doors partially unlocked
Just beginning to open
The thrill of unfolding
Knowing it can’t stop now
Knowing it’s certain
Sensing the acceleration like cracks in a dam
And knowing it’s….already
Loud joy
Are you an angel?
What is not an angel?
Support too big to grasp
Support is God is Support
Body-gasms, bursts of pleasure
In the solitude awakes company
More together than surrounded by friends
Are you new here?
Yes, I am.

Love David

P.S. Sharings on your Byron Katie experience are welcome at blog

I would absolutely love to have a beautiful piece of land, at least 40 acres, in Northern California with huge oak trees, rolling meadows, a year-round growing season, and a spring-fed brook, where I could create amazing gardens with the faeries and teach people about sustainable living and building, holistic healing, raw foods, the arts, and Celtic mystery wisdom.

your a very cool human David, i've been reading your blogs...... Very generous and unfearless of you.

i didn't go to Byron Katie School to have my ass kicked but the universe did. Life as an Artist hard core monk style - (in intense solitude) did it..... your description is very clear; i hear what gives.... and ace 4 you. Ambition v's hang on heart I just need to do this. Ha
Take care and cheers for the freebeeeees. I'm sure someone like you knows the benefits of giving, because of the joy, abundance and over flow u have, the desire to see another grow and....... in darkness thats the best time to give - it lightens ourselves..

Good cheer to you mish

my greatest dream is to have inner peace. a peace that settles so deep and firmly inside me, that it cannot be shifted by the winds of life, the torrents of emotion or the gales of the ego. it is a peace that radiates out from me and brings calm and peace to other beings in this physical realm. i guess if i am honest this peace is my soul and me standing in the truth and beauty of my own godliness. my greatest dream is to be peace.

My greatest dream is to build my dream home on beautiful and fun property - with water to play in or on.
The home is one that beckons and draws one inside. people can't help it and they say "ah or oh" when they come to visit and spend the night.

I would work from this home and have the ability to have speakers and small retreats for all my friends to enjoy.
There would be a game room, a pool, a sledding hill a small boat access, a beautiful garden, fruit trees, a place for campfires and dancing and collecting fireflies.

I love Bernadette's dream! I would have a similar large piece of land in Northern California near the ocean. On this land I would grow fruit, nuts, olives and vegetables; I would also have a rescue for orphaned dogs so that they can live happily and safely.

My greatest dream is to have more than enough money to buy my Mom her dream home. She has never asked for anything. I never even knew she had this dream until recently. She is an awesome person, and I want to show her in this small way how much she means to me. Then I want to be able to give a million dollars each to Habitat for Humanity, Southern Poverty Law Center, American Friends Service, TechnoService, Second Harvest, and American Indian Tribal Colleges (for scholarships). Finally, my own dream home in the desert with space for work, play and friends!

My greatest dream is to live in my dream art home in BC Canada..a warm , colorful, inspiring, homey, cozy forest cottage filled with books and music and projects and laughter and firelight and good food and friends and enduring contentment. There's a stream running through the property, wild and glorious gardens growing rampantly ,filled with flowers, nuts , fruits and veggies. Nestled in a corner is a magical gypsy wagon for quiet solitude and retreats. I walk barefoot outside to pick fresh greens from my garden, drinking in the scents of mint, narcissus, and honeysuckle. I live and write and work and play in abundance and harmony in this space with my loving partner,Patrick, my amazing, growing children and sweet friends. Our lives are Living Art. At times , people from far away come to our space and are richly nourished by being here..with us. We are practicing, and living well-lived lives.
The amazing thing is,except for Patrick moving here, this is all true...! mmmmmmm....gratitude!

My dream is to eliminate the devastating effects of wrongful prosecutions and evictions through www.TheEthicsProject.org. Millions of children's lives are affected each year by parents convicted of crimes, many of whom are innocent and many others following a pattern of criminal behavior because of their parents convictions. Too many prosecutors, judges and police act unethically simply to acheive personal goals and/or out of racial and economic prejudice. My life's goal is to use the Rule of Professional Conduct to ensure misconduct is minimized in the criminal justice system.

My greatest dream...fulfilling my desire to reach 100,000 women to inspire, uplift, empower and transform them into the woman they were born to be. To take my life and its lessons and wisdom, triumphs and defeats, experiences and insights and tap into the hidden power that all women have inside them that is just waiting to come forth. This will be the year I will be able to fully step into this calling in my life with all the financial wherewithal to do it. Every day I am taking steps toward it and I know it Will come to pass!

My dream would be to move back to FL and be with my son and grandsons OFTEN! I want to be part of their life always. I want peace with myself and my choices in life. I also want to find a job, one that I'm contributing to others, helping them help themselves. (somebody say "be a coach?" :) Thanks David for everything!

My greatest dream is to win millions to Christ, who are so transformed by their relationship with the Creator of the Universe, that they carry His divine life to millions of others and set them free in turn. I want to see these Christians, filled with love, honor and justice, go make a practical difference in the world - setting people free from slavery, lifting them out of poverty, helping people break free of addictions, demonstrating true and faithful married life and positive, loving parenting. I want to see these families be lighthouses that create spaces of Belonging and Comfort for their neighbors and friends and act to preserve freedom for people of any belief to live in accordance with the dictates of their conscience. And I want to see evil to die out for lack of attention.

My greatest dream...hmmn...I have been challenging myself recently to find that and to take action toward it. I thought because I love to teach others and to learn from them also that I should be a teacher. After spending the last 7 years teaching middle school, I know that's not the ultimate incarnation of that dream (don't get me wrong--I love those kids!). So, ultimately, I am destined to write books and be a public speaker on such topics as overall wellness including nutrition, physical fitness, mental health, and spirituality. Now--I just need to take action.

I am surprised by my own self-chatter. My greatest fear is that I will run out of time to find my dreams. I have dreamt a thousand dreams and actually lived a few but my greatest? How do I pick just one?

I envision my life as a wonderful dinner plate holding a main course, side dish and dessert. My main course (Coaching) takes up at least half of my plate - I am grateful that I enjoy it and it pays some of the bills. At different times in my life my main course was more about necessity than desire and that's okay too. My side dish is my volunteer efforts to help troubled marriages. It complements my main course but it is totally different and fills my soul. It does not pay the bills. My delicious dessert is making window treatments. It feeds my creativity and love of fabrics and textures.

So I guess my greatest dream would be to shift my plate and have the financial freedom to be able to Coach for free and help people make their homes and lives beautiful.

My greatest dream is to have a million-dollar coaching business. I live in Japan and have a great opportunity to break into a niche market here, since I am perhaps the only coach in this area. I've just come through a VERY bad experience with an English School franchise and am now looking to start again in a field where I can be my own boss and really make a difference in Japan.

My greatest dream is to live near the ocean with my beloved. Looking through the glass doors and watching the tide come in and out while a gentle breeze touches the palm trees and gently moves through our home. Nearby is the healing center for those making their transition. There is a variety of therapies to change their transition from tragedy to transcendence. Also, continuing to coach those who are living to be "alive." Thanks for asking.

My greatest dream is to realise my fullest potential by doing something of my own. I have always wondered if my skills that I am apply at work (to individuals) can be explored further and make it a passion to live with. My idea to start off as a professional & life coach in India is still brewing very strong inside me. As David mentioned, I have so far only received very good reception about my idea when I shared with confidants! It is the worry if I have done enough homework in terms of skills and education is what I am still wondering and holding me back from acheiving my dream..

Keeping the dream alive rather than living in my dreams..

My single greatest dream is neither financial, material nor spiritual.
It is to find, or create a personal development program that will empower teenagers to find their own authentic dreams, to believe that they were meant to be, and to persue them in the wake of any amount of opposition or setbacks that may arise.
Also to add to this program all the missing ingredients in our current educational system in South Africa.
These ingredients would include social skills, public speaking, coping with stress, assertiveness and so on.
In this country, learners are expected to chose their final set of subjects before grade 10 and I would like them to know their true career calling before then.
I want this to be accessible to young people who are socio-economically unable to access this information at this stage.
I want there to be sufficient interest so as to ensure that this becomes a self perpetuating program. In other words, there must be a sufficient amount of graduates who undertake to impart these skills upon others.
I want the sense of fulfillment that such a program will give me, regardless of financial or material gain or lack thereof.
This is who I am and what I was born for.
I am an educator, teaching grades 8, 9, 10 and 11, and if anyone knows of such a program that is generic enough to apply in a South African schools environment, I would love to hear about it.
Yours in caring.
Steven John Parkes.

My dream is to believe in myself enough to let go - to let go of worrying about what others think, to stop worrying about whether I am offending, not entertaining enough, not doing as 'I should' and not good enough as friend, acquaintance, parent and wife. My dream is to live my life in confidence - to live for what is, for I know my life is blessed I am loved by and I love my beautiful family and I have a deep inner sense of who I could be ---so my dream is to just be me!!

Thank you David for creating a blog for people to share their dreams. It is so true that the first step to having something is declaring it. I am on the verge of manifesting my Big dream of a network dedicated to supporting and strengthening the work of missionaries on the African continent. The Global Network Initiative will be launced early in 2009 in South Africa and to date 8 churches, 6 independent minsitries, 4 non-profit organistations, 3 Aids orphanges and 2 international aid agencies have bought into our vision and agreed to partner with us in building this network. it aims are to create unity amongst Christian ministries, organisations and community-based projects working to combat HIV/Aids, poverty and drug and substance abuse in Lesotho, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Uganda. Anyone who would like more information and/ or to find out how they can get involved is free to e-mail me on t_monale@yahoo.ca
